Message from the CEO
I have have three goals that I insist on achieving daily:
Enhancing the lives of clients: We have been granted the opportunity by local and state mental health agencies to provide quality, effective care for those most in need. Many of the individuals we care for are in behavioral and mental crisis. For an effective change to occur, the cause of this crisis must be diagnosed. With a behavioral change, the consumer can be a more positive individual.
Provide meaningful career opportunities: At Life Enhancement Services our staff includes seasoned individuals and those who are new to the mental health profession. Some of our employees are completing undergraduate and graduate degrees in human services, and working at Life Enhancement Services allows them to gain valuable practical experience early in their careers.
Creating positive change: Here at Life Enhancement Services we strive to maintain an active partnership in the communities we serve. I currently serve on: the advisory board for The Charlotte-City Council’s Ten Year Plan to End and Prevent Homelessness; The Harvey B. Gantt Center for African-American Arts & Culture Board of Directors; the Police Activities League; Johnson C. Smith University’s Board of Visitors; The Urban League of Central Carolinas Board of Directors; and Harris YMCA Board of Directors. Additionally, I encourage our employees and clients to become positive, contributing members of the community. My hope is that through their affiliation with Life Enhancement Services they will become a valuable asset in their community.
